Happy Sunday!
In the coming week, on Tuesday is the World Day for the sick, with the optional memorial of Our Lady of Lourdes. St. Bernadette stands to remind us that a holy life can appear in the profound beauty of simplicity. Spending
time with persons with health needs is inclusive of all seeking restoration through Christ's love, in and through the church. After visiting the sick, there is a growing awareness of the gratitude of sound health and an ordering toward the greater common
good. May part of any Sunday be offered to extend a hand in charity to another? May Sunday open us to the communion we have lived during the Mass to be that life to others? How may we pray for all those who dedicate their lives to caring and healing?
On St. Valentine's day this week may the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immacuate Heart of Mary be as a beating pulse of life in our days.
Peace!
